Banana Leaf Tuna Steak
- 1 tuna steak
- 4 kaffir lime leaves
- 1 banana leaf
- 3 sliced mushrooms
- 3 asparagus spears
- 1 snow pea
- Handful of chopped coriander
- 1 sliced red chilli, deseeded
- ½ lime, juice only
- 2 tbsp water
- Salt and pepper
- Preheat the oven to 220C. Season the tuna on both sides with salt and pepper. Lay the banana leaf on a kitchen surface and place the tuna in the middle. Top with the kaffir lime leaves, then the mushrooms, asparagus, snow pea, coriander, chilli, lime juice and water.
- Fold the leaf around the tuna steak to make a parcel. Secure with a cocktail stick, and bake for 12 mins in the oven. When ready, serve the steak in the banana leaf and enjoy.
