Barbecue Vegemite Chicken Wings

  • 3 tbsp Vegemite
  • 2 tbsp barbecue sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1kg large chicken wings
  • Mix together all the ingredients (except the wings) in a large bowl to make a marinade, then coat the wings in the marinade and pop in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  • When ready, place the marinated wings on a grill rack and barbecue over glowing coals for about 20 mins, brushing with the excess marinade, until cooked through and nicely charred. Serve with all your favourite sides and enjoy!
