Buttered Spiced Crab
- 2 hard boiled eggs, chopped
- 400g white crabmeat
- 2 tbsp mayo
- 40g melted butter
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- Pinch of ground allspice
- 1 pink shallot, thinly sliced
- Small handful of basil leaves
- Toss the crab, eggs, mayo, spices and butter into a bowl. Mix well and season liberally, then divide between 6 ramekins and chill until ready to serve. Top each serving with slivers of shallot and some fresh basil, then serve with warm slices of baguette. Delicious.
