Caribbean Lamb Burgers

  • 1⁄2 red onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp tomato puree
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1⁄2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1⁄2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 300g lamb mince
  • Oil
  • Pinch of pepper
  • Buns, salad, and relish for serving
  • Pop all of the burger ingredients into a bowl with plenty of salt and pepper. Massage well, then form into 10cm patties.
  • Fry the patties for 5 minutes on each side or until cooked to your liking. Serve in buns with all your usual favourite toppings!
