Chateau Mont Redon

Chateauneuf du Pape is one of those French wine regions that has managed to become something of a household name. Why? Well, because of a blend of almost peerless historical significance, a genuine dedication to excellence which has only strengthened across the centuries, and a set of vineyards and climatic conditions which are considered among the finest on earth.

It’s in the Chateauneuf du Pape part of France’s famed Rhone Valley that we find the beautiful winery of Chateau Mont Redon, a producer which has become one of the most recognisable in the appellation thanks to its global reach and breadth of wine styles. It’s the culmination of almost 2000 years of history - vines were cultivated on the site of the estate in Roman France - and many would claim their produce has simply never been better.

Chateau Mont Redon works with vineyards across Chateauneuf du Pape as well as neighbouring Cotes du Rhone and Lirac, also world-beating appellations renowned for producing utterly gorgeous red and white wines.

While the chateau has passed through many illustrious hands throughout its lengthy history, it has been in the Plantin family then became Abeille-Fabre for the past four generations, who have worked tirelessly to enormously expand the winery’s operations and to look beyond France at a more global customer base.

A vibrant, effective and ever-evolving approach is found at Chateau Mont Redon, with a healthy combination of traditional techniques and state-of-the-art technology sitting behind the production of every delicious bottle they release.
