Chorizo al Vino

  • 4 spicy cooking chorizo sausages
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 250ml red wine
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Baguette, to serve
  • Place the whole sausages in a small frying pan and cook for a few minutes, or until they start to release their fat.
  • Add the garlic, wine and bay leaf to the pan, then cover and cook on a gentle heat for about 20 mins. Remove from the heat, leave to cool slightly, then slice the sausages and serve in the cooking liquid with plenty of sliced baguette.
