Crispy Squid with Garlic Mayo
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 1 tbsp polenta
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 200g squid rings
- Veg oil, for frying
- 1⁄2 crushed garlic clove
- 4 tbsp mayo
- Mix the cornflour, polenta, and paprika together in a bowl. Toss the squid rings in the mix, then chuck them into some sizzling oil for 2 minutes, or until golden brown. Don’t overcook them!
- Stir the garlic into the mayo, and serve alongside your crispy squid. Simple perfection!
