Easy Lamb and Chilli Bean Burgers
- 400g tin of red kidney beans in chilli sauce
- 400g lamb mince
- 1 tsp sea salt flakes
- ¼ tsp crushed black peppercorns
- Olive oil
- Sweet potato chips, to serve
- Drain the kidney beans in a sieve over a bowl, reserving the chilli sauce. Place the beans in a separate bowl and crush with a fork, then stir in the mince, sea salt and black pepper, and mix until thoroughly combined. With damp hands, shape into patties, then place on a plate and pop in the fridge for half an hour to firm up.
- When ready, brush each side of the burgers with olive oil. Heat up a griddle pan, then griddle the patties on a medium heat for 6 mins on each side or until browned and cooked through. Leave to rest for 3 mins, then serve with sweet potato chips and anything else you fancy.
