Garlic Beef Stir Fry

  • 200g sliced beef fillet
  • Pinch of Chinese five-spice powder
  • Soy sauce, to season
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 4 chopped garlic cloves
  • 150g spinach
  • 1 medium red chilli, deseeded and chopped
  • Toasted sesame oil, to season
  • Season the beef strips with soy sauce and some five-spice. Add the oil to a wok, toss in the garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add the beef, stir-fry until browned, then toss in the spinach and cook until just wilted. Remove from the heat, sprinkle with sesame oil and serve.
