Halloumi and Watermelon Kebabs

  • For the Marinade
  • 75ml olive oil
  • 1 tsp onion salt
  • 1 tsp each garlic powder and chilli flakes
  • 1 tbsp dried fenugreek
  • For the Skewers
  • 400g watermelon cubes
  • 500g halloumi cubes
  • 150g white bread cubes
  • Make the marinade by mixing the ingredients in a jug until combined. Drizzle all over the halloumi, watermelon and bread in a bowl, and mix together with your hands. Thread alternating pieces onto soaked wooden skewers, then drizzle with any remaining marinade. Griddle or barbecue until nicely charred all over, then serve with your favourite spicy dip or sauce.
