Halloumi Fries with Honey and Sesame
- 500g halloumi, sliced into 24 fingers
- 75g sesame seeds
- 75g seasoned flour
- Veg oil for frying
- 2 tbsp honey
- 15g chopped parsley
- Roll the halloumi fingers in the sesame seeds, then dip in the flour to coat. Heat about 1 litre of veg oil in a saucepan to sizzling temperature, then fry the halloumi in batches for about 1 minute, or until golden and crisp all over. Remove and drain on kitchen paper, then drizzle with honey and scatter with parsley to serve.
