Halloumi Saganaki
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 225g block of halloumi
- 1 beaten egg
- 3 tbsp fine semolina
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp black sesame seeds
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Black pepper
- Heat the oil in a non-stick pan. Cut the halloumi through the middle, horizontally. Dip the slices in beaten egg, roll in the semolina, and fry until golden and crisp.
- In a separate pan, warm the honey. Cut the halloumi into squares, then drizzle with warm honey and sprinkled liberally with sesame seeds, black pepper, and oregano. Yum!
