Horseradish and Cardamom Mackerel

  • 4 large fillets of mackerel
  • 8 cardamom pods, seeds crushed
  • 3cm piece of horseradish, grated
  • Salt and pepper
  • Potato salad, to serve
  • Preheat the grill. Place the fish fillets flesh-side up on a baking tray. Sprinkle with the crushed cardamom seeds and the horseradish, and season with salt and pepper. Grill for 4 mins, then flip and grill the other side for 1 minute. Serve with potato salad.
