Jalapeno Beef Burgers

  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 3 chopped garlic cloves
  • 800g quality steak mince
  • 2 tsp English mustard
  • 150g grated cheddar
  • 1.5 tsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 2 red jalapeno chillies from a jar, chopped
  • Buns, salads, sauces and sides, to serve
  • Heat the oil and saute the onion and garlic to soften. Tip into a bowl, and mix with the mince, cheese, jalapenos, soy sauce, mustard and parsley. Season well, and shape into 6 big patties. Lightly oil the burgers on both sides, and griddle for 5 mins on each side, or until done to your liking. Serve in buns with all your favourite sauces, salads and more.
