Korean Bulgogi Burgers
- 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 500g beef mince
- 3 tbsp chilli sauce
- ½ tbsp each brown sugar, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar
- 3 crushed garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp oil
- 4 x burger buns
- Red cabbage slaw, to serve
- Kimchi, to serve
- Mix all the ingredients, apart from the oil, buns, slaw and kimchi together in a bowl until well combined. Season liberally with salt and pepper, then shape into patties with damp hands and pop into the fridge for an hour to firm up.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the burgers for about 5 mins on each side. Stuff into buns, slather with red cabbage slaw and kimchi, and enjoy.
