Lamb Meatball Mezze
- 50ml milk
- 100g breadcrumbs
- 400g lamb mince
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp oregano
- Small bunch of parsley, chopped
- 2 grated garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Greek salad, hummus, pittas, and tzatziki to serve
- Add the milk and breadcrumbs to a bowl and leave for 5 mins to absorb. Add all of the rest of the ingredients, minus the oil and flour, and season very well. Mix with your hands into about 24 walnut-sized balls, then cover and chill for 30 mins.
- When ready, roll the meatballs in the flour and fry in the oil for 10-12 mins, or until browned all over and cooked through. Drain on kitchen paper, then serve with all of your favourite mezze sides.
