Lamb Steaks Cajun Style
- 3 tbsp smoked paprika
- 3 tbsp cayenne pepper
- 4 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp sea salt flakes
- 4 lamb leg steaks
- 1 lemon, juice only
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- Rice and peas, to serve
- Toss the lamb with the juice of the lemon, and set aside for about 5 mins. Sprinkle each side of the steaks with 1 tsp of the mixed spices - really rub it into the meat - and then leave to marinate for at least 2 hours in the fridge.
- When ready to cook, smear the steaks with 2 tbsp of olive oil, and griddle for 3-4 mins on each side, or to your liking. Serve with rice and peas, or whatever else you fancy.
