Pan-Roasted Sesame Hake
- 1⁄2 tsp chilli flakes
- 25g sesame seeds
- 100g hake steak, cut into five pieces
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- Preheat the oven to 200C. Mix the sesame seeds and chilli in a bowl, and toss the hake pieces in the mixture until nicely covered.
- Heat the oil in a pan, and fry the hake for 2 minutes on each side. Transfer the pan to the oven for 10 minutes, then serve the hake in a bowl with your favourite greens (seaweed works especially well).
