Perfect Sardine Toasts
- 8 sardine fillets
- 1 tbsp flour
- Sea salt and black pepper
- Pickled red onion relish
- 4 slices of sourdough
- 1 tomato, sliced
- Butter
- Wholegrain mustard
- Place the flour onto a plate, and season well. Coat the fish fillets in the seasoned flour, then fry in a little olive oil for a minute on each side.
- Grill your sourdough bread, mix some softened butter with mustard and slather all over your toast. Top with slices of tomato, a pair of sardine fillets, and some pickled red onion. Delicious!
