Piri Piri Shrimp

  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp chilli powder
  • 250ml lemon juice
  • 1 1⁄2 tsp chopped ginger
  • 3 crushed garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 12 fresh shrimp
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Mix together in a bowl the paprika, chilli, lemon juice, ginger, garlic and salt. Add the shrimp to the mixture (this same recipe will work with most fish and meat) and leave to marinate for an hour.
  • When ready to cook, heat up a griddle pan, toss the shrimp into the pan, and cook until pink and ready to eat. Serve with spicy rice or crusty bread and salads.
