Prawn and Cabbage Fried Rice
- 2 tsp veg oil
- 1 tsp each chopped garlic and ginger
- ½ red chilli, sliced
- 80g shredded savoy cabbage
- 1 grated carrot
- 150g cooked rice
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- ½ tsp sesame oil
- 1 sliced spring onion
- 75g cooked and peeled king prawns
- 1 tsp hot sauce, to drizzle
- Stir fry the garlic, chilli and ginger in the oil in a wok for 1 minute. Add the cabbage and carrot and cook for 3 mins to soften, then tip in the rice, soy sauce and sesame oil. Stir fry for 5 mins or until the rice begins to crisp.
- Toss in the prawns and spring onion and cook for 1 minute, then serve on a plate with a hearty drizzle of hot sauce.
