Prosciutto-Wrapped Pears

  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp crushed peppercorns
  • 2 pears, halved, cored and each half cut into 4 slices
  • 8 slices of prosciutto, halved lengthways
  • Rocket leaves
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Preheat the oven to 180C and line a baking sheet with parchment. Whisk the peppercorns and maple syrup together, then toss in the pears and gently mix to coat. Remove the pear slices and wrap each one with a piece of prosciutto.
  • Place the wrapped pear slices on the baking sheet and cook for 12 mins in the oven. Cool for 5 mins, then serve with rocket leaves and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar.
