Sesame Tuna with Rainbow Slaw

  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 lime, ½ juiced, half cut into wedges
  • ¼ shredded red cabbage
  • ½ red chilli, sliced
  • 1 yellow pepper, sliced
  • 100g bean sprouts
  • 30g chopped toasted peanuts
  • 2 x 2cm tuna steaks
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • Combine the lime juice, sesame oil, and some seasoning, then toss with the cabbage, chilli, beansprouts, peanuts, and yellow pepper.
  • Heat a frying pan until searing hot, then season the fish steaks and coat in the sesame seeds. Fry for 3 mins on each side, or until browned on the outside and pink in the middle. Leave to rest for a few mins, then serve with the slaw and some lime wedges.
