Simple Fried Halibut Steaks Recipe
What you'll need:
- 30g plain flour
- 2 halibut steaks (or other similar fish), about 2.5cm thick
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Olive oil for frying
- Chopped parsley
- Lemon wedges to serve
Time: 20 mins
Serves: 2
Method
First
Take a dinner plate, and cover it with a thin layer of flour. Put the lemon juice into a bowl. Dip the fish steaks first in the lemon juice, getting them nicely covered, and then coat in the flour.
Second
Heat up the olive oil in a frying pan, and then fry the fish well on both sides (about five minutes per side should do it). Serve piping hot alongside your favourite green veggies, and dress with lemon wedges. Simplicity and perfection!
