Smoky Texan Chicken Wings
- 1kg chicken wings
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 crushed clove of garlic
- 2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 chilli, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper
- Put the chicken in a big bowl, and season well with salt and pepper. In a separate bowl, mix together all of the other ingredients to make a marinade, then pour all over the wings to coat. Cover with film, and leave to marinate in the fridge overnight.
- Ready to cook? Then preheat the oven to 220C, or fire up a barbecue. If you’re using the oven, roast in a roasting tin for 30 minutes. For the barbecue, cook over glowing coals for about 30 minutes until nicely charred and cooked through. Serve with bread and pickles.
