Spiced Grilled Squid

  • 4 x 150g squid, cleaned
  • Olive oil
  • For the Spice Mix
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp sea salt flakes
  • Mix together the ingredients for the spice mix, then coat the squid with the marinade and leave in the fridge to chill for 2 hours or longer. Preheat a griddle pan, splash in a little oil, and cook the squid for 3 mins on each side. Drizzle with more oil, and serve on a bed of green salad leaves with some lemon wedges for squeezing.
