Steamed Chilli Soy Tofu
- 250g silken tofu
- 1 small red chilli, finely sliced
- 2 sliced spring onions
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp oyster sauce (or omit for vegetarian)
- 2 tbsp fresh coriander
- Steamed rice, to serve
- Add water to the base of your steamer, and bring to the boil. Drain the tofu and place on the heatproof plate that goes in the steamer, and steam for 15 mins. Transfer to a serving plate.
- Heat the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil together in a small pan. Pour all over the tofu, then scatter with spring onion, chilli, and coriander, and serve with steamed rice. Elegant and simple!
