Sticky Figs
- 8 figs
- Knob of butter
- 4 tbsp honey
- Handful of almonds
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Mascarpone, to serve
- Heat the grill to medium. Cut a cross at the top of each fig, and ease the top apart like petals. Sit the figs in a baking dish, and top with a piece of butter. Drizzle with honey, then sprinkle with spice and nuts. Grill for 5 mins to soften and until the butter and honey make a sticky sauce. Serve immediately, with a big dollop of mascarpone for extra luxuriousness!
