Sticky Red Wine Chorizo
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 chopped garlic cloves
- 500g cooking chorizo, cut into chunks
- 100ml red wine
- 1 tbsp honey
- Handful of parsley, chopped
- Crusty bread, to serve
- Heat the oil in a pan and gently fry the onion to soften for a few mins. Add the garlic, cook for a few mins more, then add the chorizo and brown all over. Pour in the wine, stir in the honey, then cover and cook on a low heat for 5 mins. Season, and serve scattered with parsley and with crusty bread to mop up the juices!
