Tandoori Salmon Steaks

  • 1 tsp each ground ginger, cumin and coriander
  • ½ tsp each paprika and turmeric
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • 2 ground cloves
  • 1 crushed cinnamon stick
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 300ml yoghurt
  • 4 salmon steaks
  • Bombay potatoes and salad, to serve
  • Place all the spices in a bowl and mix with the oil and yoghurt. Smear half the mixture over the fish steaks and leave to marinate in the fridge for 2 hours.
  • Place the marinated salmon steaks on a foil lined tray and grill for 4 mins on each side, then serve immediately with Bombay potatoes, salad, and any dips or chutneys you fancy.
