Teriyaki Mushrooms

  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 12 field mushrooms, stems removed
  • 1 cabbage leaf, to garnish
  • Sesame seeds, to garnish
  • Place the sesame oil, soy sauce, and honey in a bowl, and mix well. Add the mushrooms, coat with the mixture, and leave to marinate for 10 minutes.
  • Heat up a griddle pan until smoking. Thread the teriyaki mushrooms onto skewers, and then griddle for 2 minutes on each side to cook through. To serve, place a large cabbage leaf on a plate, and unthread the mushrooms onto the leaf. Scatter with sesame seeds, and eat hot.
