Teriyaki Tuna with Crispy Noodles
- 150g tuna steak
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp runny honey
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- For the Noodles
- 50g rice noodles
- 500ml veg oil
- Rub the tuna with the oil and season well on both sides, then fry in a very hot pan for 2 mins on each side. Pour over the honey and soy sauce and cook for 30 seconds more, then remove from the heat, sprinkle with sesame seeds and set to one side.
- Make the noodles by heating the veg oil in a deep saucepan to sizzling temperature. Carefully add the noodles to the pan - they’ll puff up and cook in a matter of seconds. Remove, drain on kitchen paper, then serve alongside your tuna steak.
