Texas Pork Ribs
- 20g sea salt flakes
- 3 tsp garlic powder
- 3 tsp onion granules
- 20g black peppercorns, crushed
- 2.5 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 x 700g pork ribs
- Smoky chipotle BBQ sauce
- Preheat the oven to 180C. Mix the salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder and paprika in a deep roasting tin and roll the ribs in the mixture to coat. Add 220ml water, cover with a double layer of foil, and cook for 3 hours.
- Heat a barbecue or griddle pan. Spoon about 1 tbsp of BBQ sauce over the cooked ribs, then finish the ribs on the barbecue or griddle for 15 mins, turning occasionally until they are sticky and glazed. Serve with BBQ sauce and anything else you fancy.
