Thyme and Garlic Beef Bites

  • 400g sirloin steak
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp thyme leaves
  • 1 lime, juice and zest
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • Rub the steak all over with seasoning, the lime zest, olive oil, thyme, garlic and Worcestershire sauce, then leave in a dish to marinate overnight. When ready, remove from the fridge, squeeze over the lime juice and leave to stand for another 15 mins.
  • Heat up a griddle pan and sear the steak for 3-5 mins on each side, then leave to rest for 10 mins. Cut into 12 cubes and spear onto cocktail sticks, then serve as part of a canape selection or appetiser.
