Thyme and Garlic Beef Bites
- 400g sirloin steak
- 1 crushed garlic clove
- 1 tbsp thyme leaves
- 1 lime, juice and zest
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp olive oil
- Rub the steak all over with seasoning, the lime zest, olive oil, thyme, garlic and Worcestershire sauce, then leave in a dish to marinate overnight. When ready, remove from the fridge, squeeze over the lime juice and leave to stand for another 15 mins.
- Heat up a griddle pan and sear the steak for 3-5 mins on each side, then leave to rest for 10 mins. Cut into 12 cubes and spear onto cocktail sticks, then serve as part of a canape selection or appetiser.
