Tuna Steaks with Cucumber Salsa

  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 x 140g tuna steaks
  • For the Salsa
  • ½ cucumber
  • 2 chopped spring onions
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • ½ red chilli, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Rub the tuna steaks with oil, and leave to one side while you make the salsa. Peel the cucumber, half lengthways, and remove the seeds with a spoon. Dice the flesh, and combine with the rest of the ingredients in a bowl, seasoning well.
  • Griddle the steaks for 2 mins on each side, then remove and leave to stand for 3 mins. Spoon over the salsa, and serve.
