Very Quick Nasi Goreng
- 2 tbsp veg oil
- 1 sliced onion
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- 1 grated carrot
- ½ savoy cabbage, shredded
- 180g cooked brown rice
- 1 tbsp Thai fish sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 egg
- Sriracha, to serve
- Heat the oil in a wok, and cook the onion for 3 mins to soften and slightly caramelise. Add the garlic for one minute, then toss in the cabbage and carrot for 2 more minutes. Add the rice and stir well, then pour in the fish sauce and soy sauce, along with some seasoning. Make a well in the centre, and crack in an egg. Once the egg is cooked, serve the nasi goreng in a bowl, drizzled with sriracha. Easy!
