Walnut, Pear, and Goat’s Cheese Tartines

  • 4 pears
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp runny honey
  • 4 slices of seeded sourdough
  • 200g soft goat’s cheese
  • Small handful of chives, chopped
  • 50g chopped walnuts
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • Rocket, to serve
  • Preheat a griddle pan. Cut the pears into eighths or quarters, depending on the size, and brush with oil. Griddle for a few mins until charred on all sides, then drizzle with the honey.
  • Toast the bread, and spread with plenty of goat’s cheese and top with the chives, walnuts, and your sticky pears. Drizzle with balsamic, and serve immediately with a handful of rocket. Delicious!
