Za’atar Hake
- 2 tbsp za’atar
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 400g hake fillet, cut into 4
- Sea salt
- Mango salsa, to serve
- Mix the za’atar with olive oil in a bowl to create a paste, then smear all over the fish pieces to cover. Season with salt, then leave to marinate in the fridge for 30 mins. When ready, drizzle some olive oil into a pan and fry the fish for 7-8 mins on one side and 3 mins on the other. When golden brown with a spicy crust, serve with a helping of mango salsa or similar.
