Zesty & Spicy Popcorn

  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 45g popping corn
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • ¼ tsp grated lime zest
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper
  • Place a lidded saucepan on a medium heat, and lightly toast the cumin seeds for a minute or two. Tip into a bowl.
  • Add the oil and corn to the pan, and stir well. Stick the lid on, and cook for a minutes to get the corn popping. Keep shaking and moving the pan regularly, to stop the corn from burning.
  • Meanwhile, mix together the toasted cumin and other ingredients to make a seasoning. Once the corn is all popped, sprinkle the seasoning over the top, give it all a good shake, and serve with your favourite movie.
