Baked Cheese with Thyme

Ingredients

Method

  • 1 cheese in a box (such as Pont L’Eveque or a good Camembert)
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 1⁄2 tsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1⁄2 red pepper, deseeded and chopped
  • Crusty bread to serve
  • Preheat your oven to 220C. Place the cheese (in the box) on a baking sheet, and sprinkle with the thyme. Drizzle with the olive oil, and add plenty of seasoning.
  • Place in the oven, and bake for about 15 minutes. You want it just melted, and nicely oozing. Serve hot with crusty bread and some chopped peppers.
