We’re hiring a Business Operations Manager to be the execution backbone of Good Pair Days, translating strategy into action, strengthening our operational systems, and ensuring the business runs smoothly as we scale across Australia and the UK. A role focused both within our Sydney warehouse, and focusing on the wider aspects of the business.

What You’ll Do

  • Learn and understand end-to-end warehouse and fulfilment operations (2 days per week onsite in Glendenning).
  • Step in to support or manage warehouse operations when required
  • Work directly with the COO to strengthen and improve operational systems across the business
  • Drive key cross-departmental initiatives across Operations, Marketing, Customer Service, Procurement, Wine, Tech & Retail
  • Translate strategy into structured execution plans and ensure delivery
  • Deliver continuous improvement projects, cost-saving measures, and efficiency enhancements
  • Analyse operational and financial data to inform smarter decisions
  • Support systems management (WMS, shipping platforms, reporting tools, automation)
  • Work with external partners, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to drive outcomes
  • Champion clear communication and operational transparency company-wide

What You Bring

  • 4+ years experience in operations, business operations, logistics, or project delivery in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong initiative and proactive ownership - you anticipate needs before they arise
  • Comfortable analysing data and building reports to support decision-making
  • A confident communicator who keeps things moving and people aligned (we use Notion and Slack)
  • Experience working in ecommerce, logistics, or subscription businesses is highly regarded
  • Comfortable spending time in a warehouse environment and learning hands-on operations
  • No requirement to have specific wine knowledge

  • Improving warehouse efficiency and dispatch accuracy

  • Supporting expansion initiatives (new warehouse, retail, operational scaling)
  • Enhancing reporting dashboards and data visibility
  • Implementing process automation across teams

Good To Know

  • You’ll report directly to the COO, based in London
  • Expectation of 1 day per week onsite in our Glendenning warehouse
  • Our broader team operates across Australia and the UK
  • Some flexibility required to collaborate across time zones (at least one evening per week).
