- 300g T-Bone or Sirloin steak, bone removed
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 chopped cloves of garlic
- Small handful each of fresh basil, chervil, and parsley
- 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
- Squeeze of lime
- Give the steak a good rub with the Cajun spice and drizzle it with olive oil. Heat up your frying pan until it is banging hot, then sear the steak on all sides for 2-3 minutes. Chuck in the garlic and fry for a further minute, then remove from the heat and leave to rest for 5 minutes. Slice thinly.
- To serve, toss all the herbs onto a serving plate, and top with the sliced steak. Drizzle with balsamic, lime, and a dash of olive oil
