Cajun Lamb Steaks

  • 3 tbsp paprika
  • 3 tbsp cayenne pepper
  • 5 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp sea salt
  • 4 lamb leg steaks
  • 1 lemon, juice only
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Sweet potato fries, to serve
  • Add all the dry ingredients (everything except the lamb steaks, olive oil, lemon juice and sweet potato fries) to a bowl or a jar, and mix well until everything is combined.
  • Toss the lamb steaks in the lemon juice and set aside for 3 mins. When ready, rub 1 tsp of the Cajun spice mix into the meat, then leave to marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours. To cook, rub the steaks with olive oil and griddle for 3-4 mins on each side, then serve with cooked sweet potato fries or wedges.
