- 8 rashers smoked streaky bacon, chopped 4 chicken breasts, cut into chunks 200g small button mushrooms 1 tbsp seasoned flour 400g tin of chopped tomatoes with garlic and herbs 1 beef stock cube Worcestershire sauce Chopped parsley Crusty bread, to serve
- Sizzle the bacon in a saucepan for 2 mins or until just browned. Toss in the chicken and cook for 5 mins, then add the mushrooms and cook for 3 mins more. Stir in the flour and cook until a paste has formed.
- Add the tinned tomatoes to the pan and stir well. Crumble in the stock cube and leave everything to simmer for 10 mins, then splash in a dash of Worcestershire sauce and stir through the parsley. Check for seasoning, then serve with crusty bread - easy!
