Ingredients
Method
- 100g organic beef fillet, very finely chopped
- 2 gherkins, finely chopped
- 1 tsp capers, finely chopped
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- A splash of Tabasco
- 1⁄2 tsp French mustard
- 1⁄2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper
- 1 slice of dark rye bread
- 1 free-range yol
- Place the beef, capers, gherkins, and shallot in a bowl, and mix really well. Add the Tabasco, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper, and mix to combine.
- Serve by spooning the tartare onto a slice of toasted dark rye bread, then make a small dent in the top, and carefully top with the egg yolk. Eat immediately.
