Fig and Goat’s Cheese Canape

  • 8 ripe figs, halved
  • 100g soft goat’s cheese
  • 25g clear honey
  • 20g chopped pistachio kernels
  • A few thyme sprigs, leaves chopped
  • Place the figs on a serving platter, cut-side up. Slice the goat’s cheese into 8 equal rounds, then slice each round in half.
  • Push the goat’s cheese semi-circles into the fig flesh, then season with salt and pepper. Drizzle with the honey, scatter with the pistachios, and finish with a little chopped thyme.
