Ingredients
Method
- Veg oil for frying
- 200g soft goat’s cheese
- 75g flour
- 200g flaked almonds
- Beetroot salad, to serve
- Half-fill a pan with oil and heat to sizzling temperature. Cut the cheese into 8 equal portions, and roll into balls. Dredge in the flour, then roll the cheese balls in the almond flakes to coat. Fry for about 30 seconds, or until golden all over, then remove and drain on kitchen paper. Serve with a Scandi-style beetroot salad and some peppery leaves - yum!
