  • 500g halloumi, sliced into 24 fingers
  • 75g sesame seeds
  • 75g seasoned flour
  • Veg oil for frying
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 15g chopped parsley
  • Roll the halloumi fingers in the sesame seeds, then dip in the flour to coat. Heat about 1 litre of veg oil in a saucepan to sizzling temperature, then fry the halloumi in batches for about 1 minute, or until golden and crisp all over. Remove and drain on kitchen paper, then drizzle with honey and scatter with parsley to serve.
