Indian Halibut Steaks
- ½ tsp ground turmeric
- ¼ tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 2 halibut steaks
- Pinch of sea salt
- ½ tsp each of grated ginger and garlic
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 tsp flour
- Fresh lemon juice
- Rice or naan, to serve
- Rub the turmeric, chilli powder, coriander, sea salt, ginger and garlic, and 1 tbsp of oil all over the fish steaks, then dust all over with the flour.
- Heat the remaining oil in a frying pan and fry the halibut steaks for 4 mins, then flip over and fry for 3 mins on the other side. When cooked through and slightly crisp, remove from the pan and season with a squeeze of lemon. Serve immediately with rice or naan and your choice of salads.
