Seared Tuna with Radish Salad
- 4 x tuna steaks
- 1 tbsp yuzu juice
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 6 tbsp olive oil
- 15 radishes, very finely sliced
- 1⁄2 cucumber, cut into small chunks
- 4 tbsp each of mint and coriander leaves
- 1 lime, juice only
- 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- Heat up a griddle pan until smoking, then sear the tuna for 30 seconds on each side before removing from the pan. Slice into thin slices, and arrange on a large plate.
- Mix the radishes, cucumber, and herbs together in a bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, lime, and olive oil, and drizzle it all over the vegetables before mixing together. Sprinkle over the sesame seeds, then serve alongside your rare tuna slices.
